Privacy Policy
Last updated August 31, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Daynota (“Daynota,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our web application and related services (the “Service”). Daynota is an operations platform for cleaning and field-service businesses. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you are invited to and sign in to Daynota, we collect your name, email address, and the workspace (company) and role you are assigned. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile (name, email, and profile image) from Google — we do not receive your Google password.
- Operational data you enter. Information you and your team add to run your business — inventory items and counts, locations and job sites, forms and their submissions (including photos you attach), crew and roster records, supply orders, and sales proposals.
- Technical data. Standard information your browser sends, such as IP address, device and browser type, and basic usage and error logs, which we use to keep the Service secure and working.
How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service for your workspace.
- To authenticate you and enforce your workspace’s access controls.
- To send transactional messages — for example, notifications about supply orders, form submissions, or account access.
- To diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve reliability and performance.
Service providers
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the Service. They process data only to provide their service to us:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and secure file/photo storage.
- Vercel — application hosting and content delivery.
- Google — optional “Sign in with Google,” and, if you connect it, Google Drive for backing up form submissions to a folder you control.
- Resend — delivery of transactional email.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information or your operational data, and we do not use it for advertising. Data you enter is visible to authorized members of your own workspace according to their roles. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or in connection with a business transfer, in which case we will seek to ensure it remains protected.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your workspace is active or as needed to provide the Service. If your workspace is closed, we will delete or de-identify its data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal obligations.
Security
Access to Daynota is invite-only and scoped to your workspace and role. Data is encrypted in transit, and access to production systems is restricted. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using reasonable safeguards.
Your choices and rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws; we will honor those rights as required.
Children
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice through the Service.
